These terms cover your use of Recent Data (recentdata.in). By using the site you agree to them. They are plain English on purpose — if anything here is unclear, write to us.
What the site is
Recent Data is an independent research-first publication. The site mirrors the publisher's own YouTube and Instagram posts and pairs each one with the source research, datasets, and citations behind it. There is no public sign-up; visitors read for free.
Acceptable use
You may read, link to, and quote from the site for personal and editorial use with attribution. You may not scrape the site at scale, attempt to bypass rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities, or use the content to train commercial machine-learning models without written permission.
Content ownership
All editorial writing, research notes, charts, and original commentary on Recent Data are copyright their author. Embedded YouTube and Instagram posts remain the property of the original platform and creator and are shown under the platforms' standard embed terms. Third-party sources, datasets, and government documents linked from the site remain the property of their respective publishers; we link to them for reference and cite them clearly.
Accuracy
We try hard to be accurate. We cite primary sources and show our work. If you spot an error, write to us with a correction and a source — we will update or retract, with a visible note, where warranted. We do not offer the content as financial, medical, or legal advice.
Third-party platforms
The site embeds video from YouTube and posts from Instagram. Your use of those embeds is also governed by YouTube's and Meta's own terms and privacy policies. We do not control how those platforms behave inside their embeds.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the content.
Changes
If these terms change, the page will be updated with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
